Hi there! My name is Ilan, and I'm a UX Designer currently living in Cape Town, South Africa.

Originally from New Jersey, I worked at an education nonprofit in Washington DC, then moved to Hanoi, Vietnam. I spent five years in Hanoi teaching English, Science, and History, before settling in Cape Town.

When I'm not working, I love hiking, travelling, reading, and spending time with my wife and dogs.

Among my friends, I'm known as the person to ask for a movie recommendation or a perfectly curated playlist.
